Wed Oct 14th -- I will be passing back their "About Me" newspaper article for the students to take home. They have done a wonderful job letting me know a little bit more about them.

On Monday October 19th we will start our Thanksgiving Project. This is a booklet that will be completed in school. It will be full of poetry and other facts about Thanksgiving. Stations will be set up around the room for the students to utilize in order to complete the booklet. It will be finished in the middle of November before Thanksgiving break.

The students are finishing up their "About Me" newspaper article. They have been writing about themselves and who they admire the most!

Each week we are learning new Greek and Latin Roots as well as Sight Words.

Part of the class we will focus on individual reading. My goal is to have each student read to me one on one to ensure they are progressing in their reading skills. We will work on pronouncing the difficult words and making sure they comprehend what they have read.
